Royal Hawaiian Center Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Wednesday, Nov. 27, 5 to 7 p.m.
Celebrate the arrival of Aloha Santa with seasonal characters, hula performances, and live local music. The 34-foot holiday tree decorated with Hawaiian ornaments will be lit by Aloha Santa. Stay put to get a complimentary professional photo with him!
Christmas Tree Lighting at the Royal Hawaiian
Friday, Nov. 29, 6 p.m.
The Royal Hawaiian will be adorned with 30,000 lights, and to enhance the ambiance, the tree will also be illuminated.
Waikīkī Parade
Friday, Nov. 29, 7 p.m.
This festive parade pays tribute to the survivors of the December 7, 1941, assault on Pearl Harbor, as well as to members of the United States military. The event features island bands, military personnel, local officials, dignitaries, entertainers, and others. The torch-lit parade spans 1.5 miles, commencing at Fort DeRussy, proceeding along Kalākaua Avenue, and concluding at Kapi‘olani Park.
Hawai‘i Kai Parade
Saturday, Nov. 30, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The parade is scheduled to commence at the intersection of Lunalilo Home Road and Hawai‘i Kai Drive, adjacent to the HK Skate Park. It will proceed along Lunalilo Home Road, concluding at Koko Marina Center. Attendees are encouraged to remain for the afterparty, taking place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the courtyard of Koko Marina Center. This event will include hula performances, carnival games, holiday crafts, balloon art, and an appearance by Santa Claus. Guests who bring a toy donation will receive 10 complimentary tickets to participate in the carnival games.
Kapolei City Holiday Parade
Parade: Saturday, Nov. 30, 6 p.m.
Participate in the Leeward O‘ahu community's vibrant block party taking place along Ala Kahawai and Ulu‘ōhi‘a Streets, in proximity to Kapolei Hale. Delight in a variety of food trucks, dazzling holiday light displays, and a festive parade. The parade will commence outside Kapolei High School and conclude at Kama‘aha Street. The enchanting holiday lights will be illuminated each night until 11 p.m.
Kaimukī Parade & Tree Lighting
Thursday, Dec. 5, 6 p.m.
The Kaimukī Christmas Parade returns, featuring a variety of participants including marching bands, scout troops, schools, local businesses, walkers, trollies, and Santa Claus, totaling approximately 40 groups. Additionally, the Christmas tree atop Pu‘u O Kaimukī will be illuminated.
Wahiawā Santa Parade and Lighting
Friday, Dec. 6, 6:30 p.m.
Experience the vibrant illumination of Wahiawā during its most significant holiday event. The parade will commence at Ka‘ala Elementary, proceed along California Avenue, and conclude at North Cane Street.
Honolulu City Lights and Parade
Saturday, Dec. 7, through Tuesday, December 31
Enjoy the enchanting display of Christmas trees adorned in diverse themes, presented by the City and County of Honolulu departments. The festive atmosphere will be enhanced by the presence of Shaka Santa, Tūtū Mele, and the snowman family, all contributing to the holiday spirit. On December 7, Mayor Rick Blangiardi will officially illuminate the city’s 50-foot holiday tree, along with the lights that adorn Honolulu Hale and the Civic Center grounds. Attendees will have the opportunity to capture a complimentary photograph with Santa on the inaugural evening.
Kāne‘ohe Christmas Lighting
Saturday, Dec. 7, 9 a.m.
The parade commences at Kāne‘ohe Bay Shopping Center and concludes at Castle High School, regardless of weather conditions. Street closures on Kamehameha Highway will take effect starting at 8:30 a.m.
Mililani Holiday Parade
Sat., Dec. 7, 9 a.m.
The procession, which includes marching bands, vintage automobiles, Santa Claus, and additional attractions, commences at Kauinana Stadium of Mililani High School and concludes at the Town Center of Mililani.
