 Travel Tips: 

Don't spend a lot of money on snorkel tours. Go to any ABC and you can pick up a mask and snorkel and go to just about any beach. You can see beautiful, colorful fish steps from the beach.

Best food is off the beat and track! Food trucks are some of the best food in Hawaii and very affordable. 

Great beginner surf spots where its very easy to learn to surf. In Oahu, Waikiki beach, Ala Moana bowls (next to Hilton Hawaiian Village), and Pua'ena Point in North Shore are easy, fun places to learn!  

Rent a car, skip the tours. Rent a car and get a map, you'll find its easy to navigate through the islands and see all the beauty.

Sometimes the best way to dine on the island is get take out, wine and head to the beach for sunset.

Check out chain restaurant menus before going, they are different and pricier than mainland.

If you want to do a breathtaking, easy hike? Do pillbox hike Lanikai beach. Amazing!

As Oahu photographers we have a blast with our clients in the most beautiful photography locations around Oahu. In this post we would like to share a little about our Oahu photography services, what to expect and tips about our Oahu locations.

As photographers in Oahu, each of our locations offer the best of the scenery our clients are looking for. Our locations consist of coves, lagoons, blue ocean water, mountains, soft and and more. We are always helpful about which location works best for your accommodations and timelines. If you’re staying in Waikiki, Waialae, Halona Cove or Sandies are the perfect locations that are very close to your accommodation. If you are staying on the west side Secret Beach next to Disney Aulani is amazing.

After choosing a location and time we ask for a small deposit. All services on Oahu ask for deposits because we all have to get permits in order to perform our services.  And of course we can always change your time based on schedule changes or weather. We can always move the permit if needed.

We are always available to give advice on what to wear and we also have blog posts that share many helpful details of what works best. Because of all the vivid colors of the surroundings, light neutral colors are always a winner. The locations we have chosen feature easy directions, restrooms and parking. Weather is a puzzle sometimes, but for most of the time rain moves by in a few minutes.

We love doing our family sessions at Sandy beach because of the variety and large spans of beach to run and play. We know everyone loves nice, posed shots, but the photos of families just playing and being themselves are usually the best. If little ones don’t seem to want to look at the camera, that’s the best time to have fun, playful pics. We also have our little tricks to make nises and funny faces to make them look. Our funny faces work every time.

 Some of our best couple’s sessions take place at Halona Cove. The amazing lagoon with waves splashing go the rocks looks like a movie set. In fact, many movies have been shot here because of its beauty. There is more info about Halona Cove on our locations page.

All of our locations are amazing to look at from the ground, but some of the beauty is missed from the sky. That is why we offer drone photography and video. From catching turtles at Waialae and Halona Cove to seeing entire reef formations at all of the locations, the drone catches views you can only see from the sky. We also offer surprise proposals on Oahu and we do a lot of them. We are a full service proposal concierge service form start to finish. We offer location and time coordination, decorations, signs and the choice of adding drone video and audio to a package to capture every step. A little about us. We are a husband and wife run business and we have a team of amazing artists that help. Our talented daughter is our main photographer. We also have some of the best photographers, drone operators and videographers on the island. Everyone we work with has been in the industry for years with 5-star reviews. Most of them work with some of the top-rated wedding companies on Oahu. As a husband-and-wife team, we do all of the editing for the photography and the video to make sure every bit of media is up to our standards. What do we do if we are not editing and consulting? We are avid surfers and try to surf every chance we can. Our favorite spots are Bowls next to Hilton Hawaiian village and Kewalo’s on the other side of Ala Moana beach park. We are also Disney nuts and try to get to the parks as much as possible. We got married at Disney World and have also photographed over 100 Disney weddings. We have also done Disney destination weddings on cruises and on their private island Castaway Cay.
